COSTA RICA
14 DAYS

No mandatory single supplement charge

Lush tropical rainforest, active volcanoes, pristine rivers and friendly people – this is Costa Rica. A diversity of exhilarating activities and sights awaits here.

We are going on a jungle hike around Poás Volcano (its colorful crater is one of the widest and deepest in the world). We can stand on the edge and peer into the bubbling and steaming crater. We continue to Arenal Volcano, with its perfect cone, its constant activity and the exuberant vegetation in the surrounding areas. We will go on a lava flow hike around the volcano and will admire spectacular sights and sounds of Arenal eruptions. At night, if we are lucky, we will witness the drama of the hot red lava against the black sky.

We will hike through Monteverde Reserve Cloud Forest and go up on a Skywalk at the canopy level to view a vast variety of wild plants and birds. We will enjoy a boat trip to the mangrove area of Bebedero.  We will encounter numerous species of flora and fauna in the unique mix of tropical rainforest and tropical cloud forest in Carara Bio Reserve, and enjoy a jungle walk in the lush evergreen forests of Manuel Antonio National Park, trimmed by a perfect white sand beach.

In Tortuguero, we will take a boat ride on the inland jungle-banked canals and observe crocodiles, monkeys, sloths, turtles and numerous species of birds.

Come and sense the great power of Nature!
